NEW TRAINING SEMINAR-Evaluations of Glass Manufacturing Plant Operations
The "Evaluation of Glass Manufacturing Plant Operations" seminar is intended to benefit both filling line and glass container manufacturing personnel who are responsible for evaluating the operation of glass container manufacturing plants. The seminar is designed to instruct personnel on the aspects of the manufacturing process that must be thoroughly reviewed to assure a high level of on going quality. It covers the importance of adherence to policies and procedures for reaction, containment and rejection of faulty material. It also instructs the attendee on methods to evaluate derived data so that it can be utilized to implement continuous improvements into the manufacturing process.
Key Topics:
- Discussions to provide a detailed understanding of the glass container manufacturing process
-How key segments of the manufacturing process can affect container quality
-Practices for defect detection, correction and prevention
-Implementing an appropriate evaluation process which measures compliance to standards and those requirements that are necesssary to attain high quality levels
-Implementing a procedure to evaluate the quality of the production process and not simply to assure that data are being recorded
-Methods utilized to conduct glass plant evaluations from preparation through scoring and follow-up including a meetign with facility leadership to review procedures, practices, policies, documentation and to determine corrective actions.
